The build of my own custom home was my first large scale design project. The dreaming, the designing, the gazillion decisions to be made, and ultimately the finished product . . . I loved every step along the way. Best of all, I won a Parade of Homes award for my work (Woohoo!). I immediately knew that I wanted to help others with their own projects and have fun doing it. Since then, I’ve teamed up with a talented and reliable crew of builders and contractors while learning new things every day. I’ve had the pleasure of helping many others turn their dreams into reality.

My love for design began as a child, with a creative family and a grandpa who was a skilled furniture maker. I studied Interior Design and earned a bachelors degree from Kendall College of Art and Design. Over the last 20 years I have worked in various fields, from commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential. I am very excited to join the team and finally be working in my hometown! I currently live 10 minutes away from the studio with my husband, 3 kids, and dog.

I am an experienced designer with a passion for creating exceptionally unique and vibrant spaces that reflect the one and only YOU. I received my bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University and since then have spent the past 5 years working in both commercial and residential design, honing my skills and finding my passion in residential projects. 

I was born in Alaska, raised in Arizona, and recently moved to Michigan. From my Southwest roots to studying abroad across Europe and traveling to various other countries with family and friends, I have a wide range of diverse influences that shape my creative design approach. I believe that great design transcends borders and incorporates elements from different cultures, places, and times.

In addition to my design expertise, I am also the luckiest cat parent to two furry friends who have travelled across the country with me, and who I like to think are my personal project managers.

I am thrilled to embark on this new journey in the beautiful city of Holland, Michigan and I look forward to meeting you, working with you, and collaborating with the KKI team to bring your personalized design dreams to life!

I am a big fan of a good “to do” list and keeping things organized. Kristine and I have that in common so it was a perfect fit for me to assist with the to do’s.

Creative and techie in many mediums. I love a challenge and the energy derived from the process. Helping Kristine grow her business and turn her dreams into action is a happy venture for me. Good days start with good design.
